This implies that complete disconnection typically appears at higher thresholding values. In the example, node 4 is a shared attribute for nodes 1 and 2. This fact explains the sustained evolution of closeness in the shared attribute condition, in contrast to the early collapse of the distinctive attribute condition (in the example, node 3).
