Fungal communities associated with almond throughout crop development: Implications for aflatoxin biocontrol management in California

Fungal densities of Aspergillus spp. in almond and pistachio orchards at the Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Center in Parlier, CA.

In both crops, Aspergillus spp. fungi increase after the second week of August. Developing almond fruits were not examined in September 8th.
