The yellow transparent spheres picture attractive spherical domains (radial piece-wise potentials) that link together the three domains (in the hinge region) and allow binding an antigen (Fab tips). The T-shaped crystallographic structure 1IGY is also shown for comparison. B) Snapshot from our simulations, showing a close-up of the antigen-covered surface. Antigens are recognizable as pink spots on the surface.
