Transcript levels of cytokines in PAMs.
PAMs were infected with HV at an MOI of 0.1 in the presence or absence of CM-H-L-5. Expressions of IFN-α (A), IFN-β (B), IL1-β (C)and TNF-α (D) were analyzed using Real-time RT-PCR at 12 h after treated with HV, HV plus CM-H-L-5 (0.8 mg/ml), or CM-H-L-5 only. Relative expression (fold changes) in comparison with PBS (Phosphate buffer saline) -treated cells (set up as 1) is shown. The data represent the mean ± standard deviation from three independent experiments. Significant differences between groups treated with CM-H-L-5 and for PBS PRRSV infected cells or uninfected cells are denoted by ‘‘*’’ (P<0.05), ‘‘**’’ (P<0.01), and “***” (P<0.001).
