The soluble VEGF receptor sFlt-1 contributes to endothelial dysfunction in IgA nephropathy

The sFlt-1 expression was upregulated by pIgA1 complex in the supernatant of HUVECs.
The HUVECs were treated with pIgA1 complex. The histogram showed that sFlt-1 expression was increased significantly by pIgA1 complex derived from IgAN patients in a concentration-dependent manner. Results are the means ± standard deviation of three independent experiments. Statistically significant at p < 0.05 level vs. without pIgA1-treatment HUVECs.
