The soluble VEGF receptor sFlt-1 contributes to endothelial dysfunction in IgA nephropathy

Fig 2

The proliferation ability of HUVECs was damaged when stimulated by sFlt-1 protein in a time and dose dependent manner.

The proliferation ability of HUVECs was measured by CCK-8 after stimulated by different concentration of sFlt-1 at different time points. The proliferation of HUVECs was damaged when stimulated by sFlt-1 protein in a time- and dose- dependent manner. Circles with solid lines represent the proliferation ability in HUVECs untreated with sFlt-1, squares with solid lines represent the proliferation ability in HUVECs treated with 100ng/ml sFlt-1, and triangles with solid lines represent the proliferation ability in HUVECs treated with 1000ng/ml sFlt-1. Results are the means ± standard deviation of three independent experiments. Asterisks indicate a significant difference from the untreated group (p < 0.05).
